Bus Travel to Teesside Park: All Aboard the Number 16

For our date night, we caught the Arriva 16, which connects Ingleby Barwick, Thornaby, Teesside Park, and Middlesbrough Bus Station. Services run up to every 30 minutes which makes the journey super easy and convenient. But here’s the real game changer: As of now, the 16 route has been extended to include evening stops outside Showcase Cinema until 10.25pm (to Ingleby Barwick) and 10.30pm (to Middlesbrough bus station) from Monday to Saturday. That means you can stick around for a late dinner, a cinema showing, or in our case, extra games at Hollywood Bowl, without worrying about how to get home.

Fun & Games at Hollywood Bowl

We kicked off our evening with a couple of games of bowling at Hollywood Bowl. And honestly, it felt like such a youthful throwback of fun. It's been years since we last went bowling! The vibe was lively, the music was upbeat, and there was just enough competitiveness to keep things interesting (yes, I won). From strikes to gutter balls, we had such a laugh. It was so great being able to kick back and be us again, as opposed to Mam and Dad.
