Mum's are notoriously hard to buy for - I think it's because we so rarely think of ourselves. As mothers our main priority is the children, ensuring they are well kept, looked after and happy. It's very rare that we treat ourselves, so when asked what we'd like for birthdays or Christmas for example, we tend to struggle. It's boring, I know. But it's what we do. A sure fire way however to get us right in the feels when it comes to gift giving is with a personalised infinity necklace. It's something that's for us, but also something that signifies family and holds sentiment. Name necklaces are always going to be a winner for mums.

What is the meaning of the infinity symbol?

Infinity symbols have been at the forefront of jewellery design in recent years. But did you realise the significance and the meaning behind the ever popular symbol? It's actually quite beautiful. It symbolises eternity, empowerment and everlasting love. The word itself is derived from the Latin 'infinitas' which translates as 'unboundedness'.

I'm sure you'll agree the meaning behind the infinity symbol is really quite something!

Why a personalised infinity necklace is the perfect gift.

Given its powerful meaning, infinity jewellery makes the perfect addition to anyone's collection. By personalising an infinity necklace, you're giving something which already has a lot of meaning behind it, so much more! Think sentiments 2.0!

A personalised infinity necklace featuring children's names on would make the perfect gift for mums. It's something that's easy to wear daily and will continue to hold a real special place in the wearers heart.

I've been lucky enough to add a custom-made meaningful necklace for mums to my collection, thanks to Joyamo. Let me tell you a little bit more about them.

Gents personalised bracelet.

My personalised infinity necklace from Joyamo.

Working with Joyamo I've added a couple of jewellery pieces to mine and my husband's collection. I chose a custom infinity necklace for myself and a personalised leather bracelet for him.

As a lover of yellow gold jewellery I opted for a gold infinity necklace. This has my eldest daughter's name on the left and my youngest on the right.

What I really love about Joyamo is the level of personalisation you can achieve. With my necklace for example you could pick everything from the metal, to the number of names, to the length of the chain. I personally opted for a slightly shorter chain as I wanted the necklace to sit closer to my collarbone.

What I chose is perfect for me, but if you fancied a longer chain or a rose gold or 925 sterling silver necklace, that would be easily doable too.

That's such a lovely and unusual necklace, Claire. You're right, mums are always hard to buy for but this is really special, and it's great that you were able to be so precise in the personalisation too. x

I used to have an infinity necklace yearssss ago and I wore it all the time and for some reason, it really helped me find peace with my anxiety if I wore it during hard situations. Love this piece from JoyAmo - I'm working with them soon too so I'm excited to see what mine looks like!
