I’m not a girl who dresses up, or goes on fancy dinners or for cocktails with the girls. I’m the type of girl who lives in trainers and loungewear. I pick comfort over everything these days. It's how I feel good and how I feel more 'me', this however makes it difficult putting dressier outfits together and dressing up for Christmas.

There's something about the festive season that persuades us all to wear a little more sparkle. Dressing up for Christmas is fun, festive and exciting. So what do you do when you want to dress up for the festive season but don't really know how to do it?...
You do it your own way!
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in and what makes you happy, only add a little bit of festive pizazz! For me, as someone who lives in high waisted trousers, cropped tees and trainers, I'm going to be continuing with my go to look I'm just going to take it up a notch. After all, why change the habit of a lifetime, right?
Dressing up for Christmas.
Festive sparkles.
A festive piece which fits seamlessly into my wardrobe is this black sparkly cropped tee. It's still super casual because of the cut, but the glitter makes it perfect for dressing up for Christmas.

High sheen.
I've paired my new cropped tee with a pair of faux leather look leggings. The high waisted cut is a style I'm used to and comfortable with, but the sheen makes them perfect for the festive season. What I love about these is just how easily they can be styled in my every day wardrobe too. Yes, they're amazing for Christmas, but they'll look equally as amazing with a pair of white trainers and an oversized jumper.
Easy dressing.
I'm all about outfits which take little to no thought which is exactly why I picked up this ribbed bardot wide leg jumpsuit. Of course it's not the most practical for going to the toilet in, but I love the fact I can throw this on and be instantly put together. It's super comfortable too due to the nature of the jersey fabric and there's plenty of room for me to fit my Christmas dinner in.

Christmas dressing from Femme Luxe.
The pieces I chose from Femme Luxe all make for great festive dressing, however they can all also be dressed down for more casual occasions. You’ll notice that I’ve added quite a few new pieces to my wardrobe over the last couple of months. I’d like to think however that everything I’ve added is multifunctional – And that’s the life I’m all about!
My aim isn’t to necessarily create a capsule wardrobe. It’s more to have multifunctional pieces with items that I can wear time and time again. I think I've done just that with my pieces from Femme Luxe.
Are you excited for dressing up for Christmas? What will you be wearing this festive season?
