After becoming enthralled by the first instalment of the Mindf*ck Series last month, November has been very much of the same! With five books in the series, it's safe to say I was hooked, as I managed to make my way through all four of the remaining books this month. This months roundup may perhaps come across as a bit boring and predictable, but I think it holds testament to how good the Mindf*ck Series really is! So without further ado, here are the four books I've read in November

Sidetracked (Mindf*ck series No.2) by S.T. Abby
Synopsis

Sidetracked deepens everything that made the first book so addictive for me. The tension ramps up as more of Lana’s past is drip fed to us, giving emotional weight to her actions without slowing the pace. In fact, it's quite the opposite. The cat-and-mouse dynamic sharpens, and the romance grows more intense. It's layered with more and more secrets that keeps us constantly on edge.
What stands out most is how effortlessly this book balances brutality with vulnerability. Which is a weird thing to say! You're absolutely rooting for Lana, the vigilante. Which is another weird thing to say! You just can't help but admire and respect her.
The plot moves really quickly, yet every scene feels purposeful, pushing both the revenge storyline and Lana and Logan's relationship forward. Sidetracked cements the series as far more than a simple thriller. It’s a character driven, high stakes psychological ride that’s impossible to put down!
I marked this down as a 3 star read, as an individual book, however as part of the series it's absolutely integral. I feel regretful marking this one so low, but trust me when I say that as a whole, the Mindf*ck series is brilliant!

Scarlett Angel (Mindf*ck series No.3) by S.T. Abby
Synopsis

Scarlett Angel is relentless! Heck! What an intense ride. The twists land really well and keep the tension sky-high. Lana’s mission intensifies, and the danger feels closer than ever, creating a constant sense of urgency.
The emotional conflict deepens as love, morality, and justice collide, making the story far more complex than a standard revenge tale.
The pacing is sharp, the suspense is something else, and the chemistry crackles under the strain of secrets threatening to surface. This is the book where everything feels like it could fall apart at any moment!... And that’s exactly what makes it so gripping.

All The Lies (Mindf*ck series No.4) by S.T. Abby
Synopsis

Review
All The Lies delivers some of the most emotionally charged moments of the series for sure. The story shifts focus from secrecy to consequences as we approach the tail end of the series. It forces the characters to confront hard truths and impossible choices. What could have been predictable instead feels really raw, with relationships tested in ways that feel painfully authentic.
The tension doesn’t rely solely on action here! It thrives in the quiet moments, the moral grey areas, that leaves you questioning, and the loyalty that refuses to break. This book stands out for its emotional payoff, blending heartbreak, devotion, and acceptance into a gripping narrative that keeps you fully invested until the very last page.

Paint It All Red (Mindf*ck series No.5) by S.T. Abby

Review
Paint It All Red is a powerful conclusion to the Mindf*ck series that stays true to the tone of the books before. The suspense remains tight, but the focus shifts toward closure and transformation, making the final chapters feel deeply meaningful. The book finalises with a definite conclusion. Something I think most people will enjoy however I can't not say that for me the finale felt slightly squiffy. I think I'd have preferred more of a cliffhanger type ending, as this is how the other four books are left. Perhaps that's just me though! With that being said, Paint It All Red was absolutely the ending I wanted it to be.

To Conclude
Wow! That's the only thing I can say about the Mindf*ck series! I found it difficult to rate each of the books I've read in November individually, which is why the star markings may feel a little off. But as a whole, this series is incredible! It felt like a 5 part drama series that you'd watch on TV. I absolutely couldn't put this down. If you're wanting to treat yourself after Christmas this should absolutely be on your list!

It's brilliant! Would totally recommend. I got through the whole series really quickly. Deffs check the trigger warnings, but it you like crazy unpredictable, this is a really good one!
Binge reading an entire series when you are totally hooked is honestly the best way to spend November.
I am more of a romance reader but All The Lies sounds like a great book and now I am keen on getting all the books from the series to find out more about it
