Obviously I'm nowhere near Middlesborough but I do love an independent coffee shop, their coffee is always so much better than chains! I know of a little coffee shop called Archie's in Lincolnshire which I know I'll be visiting a lot when I move, they do the BEST iced coffee!

Lovely post. Your town sounds similar to mine, major shops closed and replaced by pound shops and lots of mini cafes everywhere. Great for me as a big fan of coffee. I'd come to Middlesbrough for your recommended French roast. Thank you
