When it comes to my hair, my biggest concern is its health. After more than a decade of heavily using heat on my hair and seeing first hand the damage it can do (singeing half my hair off), I've prioritised its health over everything else. Vegamour HYDR-8 Review

Let's start with looks, because even though we shouldn't judge a book by its cover, we all definitely do it, don't we? And if we are judging, I think the appearance of these Vegamour products are super luxe! I love the matte mauve packaging, which paired with yellow gold accents screams 'this is a bit of me'. If I were a piece of product packaging, I'd like to think this would be me!

The scent of Vegamour products is pretty pungent. Which for some I know isn't a huge selling point, but for me I absolutely love it. I love the spa type scents of jasmine, geranium and sweet vanilla. I love that feeling of luxurious self care and pure indulgence. Plus it makes me bathroom smell absolutely delightful.

It all sounds so brilliant, doesn't it? But let's get into the nitty gritty of each product and delve into my Vegamour HYDR-8 review.

GRO Revitalising Shampoo & HYDR-8 Hydrate and Repair Conditioner

The Vegamour GRO Revitalising Shampoo is designed to gently cleanse the scalp while strengthening the hair to support a fuller, thicker appearance. Formulated with Karmatin™ and phytoactives its job is to serve those with thinning hair. I've paired this with Vegamour's HYDR-8 Hydrate and Repair Conditioner, a hydrating product which strengthens and adds shine to damaged hair. Together these two products have given me fuller looking, more luscious hair. It's like they've changed the DNA and make up of my locks.

What I will say about these two however is when you imagine the amount of product you need, half it and half it again! A little goes a long way!

HYDR-8 Deep Moisture Repair Mask

If there's something I love, it's a super thick, nourishing hair mask and the HYDR-8 Deep Moisture Repair Mask ticks all the boxes. I've been using this once a week and popping it on just before I start running my bath meaning it's on for a good 10-15 minutes working its magic. There's something incredible about this mask that adds some real va-va-voom into my locks. It's like an instant boost of hydration and rejuvenation. My split ends seem to have completely disappeared!

HYDR-8 Leave in Conditioner

This multitasking leave in conditioner promises to deliver 14 x hydration as well as heat protection up to 450°F. If I'm honest I've not tested the latter as using heat on my hair is something I rarely do these days... And 450°F seems a little wild, right? But what I can vouch for however is the level of hydration it gives my hair. The lightweight spray feels really slight and soft when applied, it's a pleasure to use. I love the way it makes my hair feel.

I've even been using this on my daughters hair. She has a completely different hair type to me as her locks are super curly and can get matted quite easily. I love using this on her because of its detangling and smoothing properties. It's great for me, but a life saver for her!

HYDR-8 Weightless Repair Oil

A hair oil isn't something I usually use in my hair care routine. I've dabbled, but have never found one that I love. I usually find them quite sticky and heavy, however as the name suggests, the HYDR-8 Weightless Repair Oil is the complete opposite. I'm actually so surprised by this product! And that's just down to past experiences. I've been using this once a week on damp hair and have found it adds a lovely shine and leaves my hair feeling super slick and luscious.

To Conclude

I've been absolutely blown away by the Vegamour HYDR-8 range! The products have absolutely transformed my hair over the last few weeks. I'm beyond pleased with how the HYDR-8 range has injected a bit of life and moisture into my dull, lacklustre hair. I've spent the last few months talking my skin with regular 'Youthful Goddess' facials, now I'm on it with my hair care, I feel unstoppable. 2024 is the year I'm looking after me.
