An Out of This World Facial Experience with Tabitha Isobel

Tabitha Isobel, a small independent business based in Middlesbrough promises an otherworldly experience that not only rejuvenates the skin, but also the spirit and the mind. As someone who's always on the lookout for effective skincare and vouching for mums filling their own cup the opportunity of receiving a facial from Tabitha Isobel was a welcomed indulgence. Here's an account of my experience.

Introducing Tabitha Isobel

Tabitha Isobel is a Middlesbrough based one woman brand built by skincare specialist Tabitha Isobel. Founded in 2022, what first started as a love for skincare has blossomed into the incredible business we see today. Tabi is an expert in her field, transforming acne, ageing and dull skin by providing incredible facials for healthy glowing skin. So much so that she became a Skin Specialist Of The Year Finalist in 2024. Tabitha Isobel is currently practicing in Skinfinity on Linthorpe Road in Middlesbrough.

First impressions

Tabi was waiting for me at the main reception area in Skinfinity. Her friendly demeanour instantly made me feel welcome and I loved how at ease I was made to feel from the get go. It was the perfect first impression for what was about to come. From here Tabi lead me up to her salon which is on the very top floor.

The decor is very cute and girlie with pink walls and accessories. Fairy lights adorn the walls and soft spa music is played throughout adding to the cosiness of the space. The salon is super clean and inviting too. It's everything you could possibly want from a relaxing salon space.

The Initial Consultation

This is the second time I've seen Tabi so my consultation this time was quite short and sweet. During my first visit however the initial consultation was very thorough. Again this put me at ease as the level of professionalism left me feeling super confident with what was about to happen. We spoke about the skincare products I was using, the concerns I had and what I wanted to achieve with my skin. Tabi is super knowledgeable and explained everything she was going to do with my skin and how it would be beneficial.

My Review of The Youthful Goddess Facial with Tabitha Isobel

The youthful goddess facial is incredibly gentle and soothing. From the get go I could feel my body sinking into to bed. Tabi's massaging hands were so incredibly serene and the products used were so sumptuous. The facial was ridiculously relaxing. I almost fell asleep during the Dermalux LED Phototherapy session. My body was in such a state of chill that my legs were starting to get all twitchy. Annoying, but such a testament to Tabitha Isobel and how incredibly relaxing the experience was.

I really enjoyed the Dermaplaning element to the youthful goddess facial. Dermaplaning is a non-invasive exfoliation treatment that uses a sterile surgical scalpel to gently scrape off the top layer of dead skin cells and fine fuzzy hair. This process reveals smoother, brighter skin and allows for better absorption of skincare products. The satisfaction of seeing what was removed from my face was incredible. Being left with baby soft skin was a bonus!

The epitome for me however was the ice globe facial massage. I feel like I have no words to describe just how out of this world the experience was. The cooling temperatures mixed with the skincare products and massaging technique was so incredibly zen. This treatment helps reduce inflammation, puffiness and redness whilst also tightening the skin. Something I could feel working at the time.

The Final Consultation

Another segment of the youthful goddess facial I absolutely loved was the bespoke 1-2-1 final consultation I received from Tabitha Isobel. After the facial Tabi sat me down and gave me a thorough review of my skin. She picked up on things I was concerned about, but also things I had no idea about. I'd always put myself down as having dry to normal skin however after the process Tabi advised me of oily patches on the outer sides of my face. She was also able to advise me of ingredients I should be looking for in my skincare products as she believed it might be the products I was currently using that were causing my skin issues.

Immediate Results

After 90 minutes on the bed it's safe to say that my skin was glowing! Not only was my skin bright and dewy, but my whole demeanour was too. It was an instant confidence boost that made me feel really good about myself and excited for what's to come. I have five more sessions with Tabitha Isobel over the space of the next five months and I can't wait to see how fabulous Tabi makes my skin look.

Long term benefits

I can see a difference in my skin even now, a week after my facial. My skin feels softer and more balanced. The hydration boost is particularly noticeable. An incredible bonus as this is a concern for me. I'll be regularly visiting Tabitha Isobel over the next few months so I'll be sure to update the post with my transformation journey.

Conclusion
