Dull, tiresome skin is something I've always battled with. Granted, it's not the worst battle in the world, but it's still something which is a concern for me. I'll always opt for brightening products when it comes to my skincare routine & that begins with cleansing. Here are my favourite three cleansers for dull skin.

Three of my favourite cleansers for dull skin.

Cleansers for dull skin.

1. Facetheory Vitamin C Cleanser C1.

There's no denying, I have a lot of Facetheory products in my skincare collection. Six months ago I had zero in my compilation & now I have 11 different products on the go. If that doesn't tell you how much my skin agrees with Facetheory, I don't know what will.

Th Vitamin C Cleanser was the very first Facetheory product I bought & I've since repurchased. It's become a hero product of mine & one I can't quite imagine my (life) skincare routine without.

I was a little unsure of the formulas creaminess to begin with as it's something I've never really tried before. But my skin literally just drinks this product up, it's the perfect cleanser for dull skin. Vitamin C is always a great ingredient to look out for if you're after brightening products & this is no different. My skin is left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and visibly luminous. I can't rave about this product enough!

2. Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm.

Balm cleansers are my go to formula for both my morning & evening skincare routine. I knew this was going to be a good one, but I was ridiculously impressed with the Inkey List oat cleansing balm. It feels especially nourishing for my tired, dull skin.

It's a rich cleansing balm which melts away makeup without drying the skin. It's formulated with oat kernel oil, a rich natural oil which hydrates and moisturises the skin at the same time. I've also found it to be highly soothing to my skin. It diminishes redness and gives my skin a much brighter appearance.

3. Facetheory Deeply Nourishing Jojoba Cleansing Oil O4.

Although the Facetheory Jojoba cleansing oil isn't the best cleanser I've used in terms of removing heavy makeup, it's still a firm favourite because of the effect it has on my dull skin. This product is my 'go to' as a second cleanse & one I couldn't not include in my favourites list.

The Jojoba cleaning oil gives my skin that extra pizazz! From the first time using it I knew it was going to be a firm favourite of mine and I've not completed my skincare routine without it since. The difference this product makes to my skin is outstanding. It's the perfect cleanser for dull skin.

The oily formula is super duper think and luxurious. The colour admittedly is a little off putting as it has a pretty intense yellow/ochre tone to it, but it's the formula & active ingredients which really make this cleansing product one of my faves. I'm a big fan of Facetheory & although this product doesn't quite do what it says on the tin (for me) I couldn't be without it in my skincare routine.

Facethory skincare for dull tired skin.

I'm very big on less is more when it comes to skincare. I like fuss free skincare & I like affordable skincare. All of these products tick all three boxes for me & I'm sure they will for you too.

Have you tried any of these products before?

I currently have a 20% off code with Facetheory for orders over £15. Wink wink nudge nudge.

Urgh my skin is very dull right now. It is in serious need of a holiday and a pamper. I've had Inkey List bits in my online basket for a week - I'm going to order them now on your recommendations!

A holiday sounds great! Haha. That's definitely one way to brighten your skin isn't it! I've got a few other Inkey bits to try, I've only used the cleanser so far, but so far so good! X

They're really great! I've tried more Facetheory than I have Inkey, but both have been great so far. The Facetheory Vitamin C cleanser is probably my fave! X

These look like great products - I THINK I'll need to try out some things from Facetheory now. I use a jojouba oil with my moisturiser and definitely agree about the colour thing!
