AD. With Easter fast approaching, many of us find ourselves looking for new, exciting ways to make our homes look nice. It’s easy to get stuck in our ways a little, but it only takes a little time and effort to branch out a bit and find something fresh. We’ve embraced that theme today, deciding to introduce the Eucalyptus wreath in all its glory. From its beautiful silvery sheen to the gorgeous scent that Eucalyptus is famous for, here’s why you should consider getting one this year.

Wreaths as decorations

Wreaths, as you may already know, are a beautiful form of decoration that can be used to commemorate or celebrate any number of events. Whether you’re decorating your house for Easter or trying to spruce things up a bit for Christmas, they’re a versatile option that’s been popular for years.

Most wreaths in this part of the world tend to be made using some sort of foliage from around these parts, typically holly or some sort of evergreen. Eucalyptus wreaths, as the name would suggest, are made using Eucalyptus trees, a plant native to the Australian continent but now common across the globe.

A Silvery Sheen

What to Expect

If you buy a fresh eucalyptus wreath, you can probably only expect it to remain fresh for a relatively short while. After a few weeks, it will start to dry out, taking on a new - but equally beautiful - quality. You can try spraying it with a watery mist to keep it fresh a little longer, but how long it lasts will also depend on the kind of environment that you keep it in. In general, the hotter and drier the air, the quicker the wreath will age and dry out.
