[AD] As the temperatures rise and we're starting to see a bit more of that glorious sunshine it's a really great idea to utilise the outdoors and bring it into your home. This can be done using various different interior design hacks, none of which need to be particularly expensive or hard work. In collaboration with CosyHausClub I've popped together seven really simple ideas to use biophilic interior design to bring the outside in.

How to bring the outside in using Interior Design.
1. Choose an earthy colour scheme.
A really simple way of bringing the outside in is with your rooms colour scheme. By using earthy tones and colours you're promoting a natural ambience in your living space. It's also been proven that using these types of colours can make you feel more relaxed and nonchalant within your space.
2. Clear window spaces.
This might sound like just tidying your home, but there's so much more to it than that. Sure clearing clutter from your window spaces is part of it, but it's worth also considering your window coverings. Venetian blinds for example offer practicality when it comes to shading your home, but they're also quite clunky. By rolling the blinds up and clearing your window space you're instantly bringing the outside in. Giving yourself a clearer view of the outdoors can be highly beneficial.
3. Bring the outside in using plants.
Whether real or artificial, bringing plants into our home will instantly transform your space. We're big on plants in our home. Just looking around from my desk I can see eight different areas of greenery. Some real, some artificial, but it makes a huge difference in making your house feel like a home.

4. Position furniture for a through view.
If you're lucky enough to have french doors in your home it's beneficial to position furniture in a way that creates a through view. A clear view into your outside space is a sure fire way to bring the outside in.
5. Use mirrors to bring the outside in.
Similar to a through view, using mirrors to reflect the outside in is a really easy yet effective interior design hack. Mirrors can be installed easily and affordably to echo your outside space.
6. Choose earthy materials.
Using raw materials such as woods as well as combining their different tones can really help bring the feeling of outdoors into your home. This feeling can be accentuated more so with reclaimed wooden furniture. We have a wooden shelf in our living room which still has the bark on the outer side. It's one of my favourite things in the house.
7. Choose botanical inspired artwork.
An easy and affordable way to bring the outside into your home is with botanical inspired artwork. It's the instant injection of greenery which creates the feeling of being outdoors.
I've recently picked up three botanical inspired prints from CosyHausClub and have used them to bring the outside into my daughters nursery. Let me tell you a little bit more about them.

Introducing CosyHausClub.
CosyHausClub is a mother and daughter homeware orientated duo based in London. They offer a vast amount of limited edition premium prints as well as homeware pieces to inject a bit of personality and transform your house into a home.
CosyHausClub prints.
Sometimes I feel like deciphering which prints to go for can be a bit of a minefield. There's so much choice out there that it can be quite a daunting task. Thankfully CosyHausClub do the hard work for you when it comes to finding inspiration & nailing your print choices.
CosyHausClub have a huge amount of prints available, the majority of which are available in a number of different sizes. Their artwork ranges from animal posters to typography quotes to my chosen botanical prints. There really is something for everyone from this homeware brand.
What I admire about CosyHausClub is just how easy they make it for the customer. Prints can be filtered via room type, category type and colour. I found it particularly useful to filter the prints via colour as it helps to get a good idea of which prints will go with each other.
Using CosyHaus prints to bring the outside in.
I opted for botanical inspired prints to bring the outside in to my daughters bedroom. The space itself is quite small so I wanted something fresh to add interest to the room. I also wanted the prints to reflect the amazing garden space you can see from her bedroom.
The three prints compliment each other perfectly and do a wondrous job at reflecting the outdoors. I chose prints that are similar, yet not exact to have the highest visual impact in the space.
Using wooden frames again helps to bring the outside in, but also praises the colour scheme of the prints.
The quality of the prints from CosyHausClub are brilliant. The paper is thick with a slight texture and the images themselves are super sharp. I'm really impressed with the prints from CosyHausClub and can't wait to add more to my collection.

What do you think to my CosyHausClub prints? Do you have much of the outdoors inside your home?

These prints look amazing and I love the tips on how to bring the outside in. We have patio doors & our living room brings in the sunshine, but I struggle with the bedrooms.
Cosy Haus Club sound great and I love botanical and flower themed artwork for inside - I love being outside and it definitely helps not feeling too cooped up! The nursery looks great 🙂 xx
These prints are divine, I love them! I love having earth colours and botanical prints at home, it feels very relaxing. Thank you so much for sharing Claire xx Penny.
Great ideas! We have plants, and I love that natural touch they add to our space. I sometimes buy fresh cut flowers too because nothing brightens up a room like a bouquet of flowers.
I have so many plants in our house I love them! Those prints are right up my street too,

Very nice tips! As I am working at the moment on many interior design projects, I can tell you that more and more people choose green accents in their homes, such as a green wall, green couch, or green pillows. Botanical-inspired artwork is also a great idea!
