A few years ago I took part in and completed blogmas. It's the first and only time I've done it as my goodness it's a whole load of pressure. I did it once and I'm quite happy with that - I can die a happy blogger! Jupiter from life with Jupiter and Dann is much braver than I am however and is posting everyday this month in the run up to Christmas. She has tagged me in her blogmas tag - A fun way to start the festivities.

Blogmas Tag.

1. What is your favourite winter treat?

One of the best things about winter time is the 'treat yourself' or 'f*ck it, it's Christmas' mentality. I can't pick just one winter treat as the whole season is a treat to me. We let things slide & treat ourselves to many little luxuries throughout the month. We indulge in too much food and say yes to warming winter tipples. It's bliss!

2. What Christmas Traditions do you celebrate?

We don't really have that many Christmas traditions. I don't mean that in a bad way, like we don't have any plans. We have lots of plans! We'll be decoration making, dancing to Christmas songs in the kitchen and writing letters to Santa.

3. Are you wishing for snow this year?

We've actually already had snow twice where we are. I don't know what it is, but whenever there's even a slight percentage of snow hitting the UK, we always seem to get it. My daughter loves it! I love getting her up on a morning, knowing her days going to be made seeing snow on the floor.

4. What is your favourite movie?

Call me a kid, but I absolutely love snuggling up with my girl watching The Grinch. I'm actually devastated it's been taken off Netflix. I couldn't tell you how often we watched it last year. It must have been at least twice, if not three times a week!

6. Have you ever built a gingerbread house - What is your technique?

I haven't built a gingerbread house before! Woe is me right? That being said, it is on our Christmas to do list for this year. Hopefully I'll be the perfect gingerbread architect!

7. What is your favourite Hot Chocolate?

I'm so boring when it comes to festive drinks! I don't like cream & I'm not the biggest fan of marshmallows, so when it comes to hot chocolate I'm a plain and simple kind of gal!

8. What gift are you hoping to get this year?

I've got the Mylee gel nail kit on my Christmas list this year. I want to be boujee & have beautiful nails, I just don't want to be paying a salon £50+ pounds a month to do so. Are you with me?

9. What is your warmest wintertime memory?

2018 was the best and craziest December I think we've ever had. I was pregnant with our first daughter and she was due on the 17th, however if you're a regular reader of my blog, you'll know she arrived fashionably late. I remember those days of her being overdue to be super long and super intense. Were we going to have a Christmas day baby? Was I going to be spending my Christmas day in hospital. How was it all going to work? Luckily my body went into a natural labour and she was born on the 23rd December. The mix of being in the newborn bubble and enjoying the festivities was honestly just the best ever! The house was a mess, we were running on very little sleep & our Christmas dinner consisted of pot noodles and pigs in blankets. It wasn't the norm, but it was perfect!

I'm tagging...

Loved reading this post! I’m forever wishing for a white Christmas as it would be magical but where I live, it’s very rare we get snow. Here’s me being hopeful for this year haha. Thank you so much for sharing this, it’s a great read Xo

    I love tag posts.

Totally with you on faves being taken off Netflix! Why does it happen??

We might also buy a gingerbread house this year and put it together.

Also totally agree with doing your nails at home, instead of spending a small fortune!

This is such a fun & festive tag & I loved reading your answers! I'm hoping we'll have snow for Christmas in Denmark too (it snowed here all last week) & I love The Grinch, but I don't watch that many times haha. It's a shame they took it off Netflix.

I’m exactly the same. The whole of December is “treat yourself” to me.
