I don't know about you but Mother's day seems to come around so fast these days! My husband likes to moan that it feels like every month of our calendar has some form of celebration in it at the moment, whether it's birthdays, anniversaries or holidays.

I daren't remind him of our Wedding anniversary coming up in May.

So let's take some of the stress away shall we. If you're like the opportunity to lighten the load and win flowers this Mother's day, I have a really amazing competition for you to get involved in with The Flower Shops.

Who are The Flower Shops?

The Flower Shops is a family run business who have created a network of local florists across the UK. They are reputable high street florists with years of experience and knowledge of the industry who have been handpicked especially by The Flower Shops. They ensure all bouquets are of the highest quality and can be hand delivered that very same day delivery.

There are numerous reasons why supporting local florists is better than shopping in supermarkets, department stores or other non-specialised stores. The comparison ranges from how the flowers are stored, how they are arranged, how they are delivered and the amount of customer care which goes into each bouquet.

I'm sure you'll be able to appreciate this looking at the beautiful bouquet I received.

My blooms from The Flower Shops.

I've previously received a bouquet of lilies from The Flower Shops so was a little apprehensive to see what would be arriving this time around. I love lilies, I had them in my Wedding bouquet & they're always my go to when buying flowers for myself, although it's nice to try something different every once in a while.

The delivery service.

What actually arrived was an impressively large box from The Flower Company. The flowers arrived fully boxed so no blooms were harmed at all in being couriered across to me. They even came fully watered too which I found really impressive. This is a huge benefit of shopping smaller and supporting local florists as it ensures freshness.

The delivery service was just brilliant & I couldn't wait to get stuck in & take a good look at my flowers.

The flowers.

I was shocked to see the pop of blue from the bouquet, although I'm not entirely sure why. I think it's because blue's aren't particularly a colour I'd buy when it comes to flowers. You know I like my white lilies, but even if I do opt for colour it's usually punchy pinks or sunflowers. I'm a sucker for a sunflower! But these are just gorgeous!

The bouquet has numerous tones running through it, from deep purples to pastel blues and whites with even some sharp shots of yellow. I love the amount of greenery within the bouquet as well, from the simplistic foliage to the huge green leaves framing the bouquet.

The variety of flowers this bouquet holds is stunning. Unfortunately I couldn't tell you what half of the flowers are called within the bouquet, but just believe me when I tell you that there is a lot going on! And it's blooming fabulous.

My final thoughts.

I'm beyond impressed with this bouquet of hand tied flowers because the quality is like nothing I've received before. I really feel like you can tell the difference between these and supermarket blooms or letterbox flowers. They're just incredible! Everything has been thought about with this bouquet. From the delivery to the product placement to the actual choosing of them flowers themselves.

Side note: Does anyone knows what the mysterious blue dragonfly looking flowers are placed centrally in the bouquet? Please can you hook me up if so, because I'm genuinely so interested by them!
