Kitchen upgrades
Kitchen island
Similar to this bespoke kitchen design in Islington, a kitchen island is one of the easiest ways to add character and value to your cooking space. This is because kitchen islands are great for adding more counter and storage space, as well as being highly sought after by many potential buyers. It is one trend that quite literally will never go out of style and can be customised to fit your space perfectly.
Cabinets
It can be easy to just live with the cabinets you once fitted, given that they do the job and are in good condition. However, giving it a lick of paint or replacing them entirely is a great way to instantly update the kitchen and transform the space. By focusing on updating the face frames of your cabinets, you can achieve a fresh, modern look without the need for a complete overhaul.
Kitchen appliances
Old or poorly functioning appliances are one of the main reasons that homeowners decide to upgrade their kitchen. By investing in high quality appliances, you will be able to live comfortably with the knowledge that they will function well for years to come.
Countertops
Replacing your countertops is one of the simplest ways to give your kitchen a boost without the need for a full renovation. No matter which material you choose to decorate your countertops with, it is important to invest in one that is of good quality and will last.
Lighting
Lighting makes the biggest difference in a space. Soft, warm lighting is perfect for creating the best ambience for cooking and dining. Consider the addition of accent lighting over your food prep area, along the skirting and even over your sink. No matter what you choose, lighting has the potential to make a big difference in the overall feel of your kitchen.

I'm hoping to paint the cabinets in our utility room when I get round to it to upgrade it a little!

Love this post I am such a Pinterest home board girl. We renovated our kitchen pre-COVID and it was the best thing we did. We went for an island and I have no regrets - my favourite part of the whole house!
