When you get pregnant, time can feel like it’s moving super slow at times (particularly when that morning sickness hits!), but then it can whiz by in a flash. Which is why it’s so important you do all you can to make it as memorable as possible. This is the time when you can get prepared for your upcoming arrival, cherish the time with your partner, and just try to enjoy the feeling of being pregnant before your baby joins you in the world and your life changes forever. In this article, we look at three things to do that make your pregnancy as memorable as possible.

Have A Maternity Photoshoot
One of the best things you can do when you’re pregnant and looking to create memories is to have a maternity photoshoot. Find a maternity photographer who specialises in this type of photography, and they will be able to capture some beautiful images of you and your bump that you can keep forever. You can have some solo photos, some with your partner, and even other family members (such as your dog, even!) if you wish to. You can get these photos framed and put on the wall, for you to always look back fondly on.
Book a babymoon with your partner
Time goes fast when you’re pregnant, but even faster when you have a newborn. A babymoon is a great way to spend some quality time together as a couple before your life is consumed by nappies, milk and waking multiple times through the night. You can connect as a two, and enjoy one of the last times in the near future when you will be a couple, before you are a three. Find somewhere not too far from home, where you can both relax, put your feet up, eat and drink to your heart’s content, and just make the most of the time together and take in each moment of your date together.
Keep a diary of your pregnancy
A pregnancy diary is another great memento for your journey. You can fill it in as often as you please, whether you want to write a little every day, or a larger paragraph, perhaps catching up every week. You can look back at this once your baby is here, and see how you were feeling, and any milestones you reached. One day, you could even look through your diary with your children and tell them all about the journey.
As said above, your pregnancy can go by quicker than you might think, and once you’re consumed by your new baby, you’ll find it hard to remember those days when you could hardly walk, and you could feel the little kicks to the inside of your stomach. Yet when you have the photos from your shoot to look back on, the faded tan lines from your babymoon, and the diary to read in those small hours of the morning, you will remember it with fondness, and it will remind you of that wildly chaotic, yet slow, surreal time in your life when you were pregnant.
