Dare I say it, but Christmas literally is just around the corner now! The festivities are just starting to appear (hello family size tins of celebrations) and feelings of cheer are beginning to emerge. Something we need to prepare for, aside from prepping the Christmas Eve box and house decorating is finding the perfect Christmas jumper... And I think I've done it!

Never one to go with the grain, this year I've opted for an iconic movie themed Christmas jumper. This is my Star Wars Christmas jumper.

My Star Wars Christmas jumper.

When thinking about iconic movies, I knew from the get go which route I wanted to go down when choosing my Christmas jumper this year. I couldn't not choose a Star Wars Christmas jumper.

It took me a LONG time to get into Star Wars! My husband was brought up on Star Wars and had been pestering me for the best part of five years to let go and give the movies a go. But being the stubborn Sally that I am it did take a while to win me around, but like everything else in life (much to my annoyance) he was right!

The Star Wars Christmas jumper I've picked this year shows exactly who I am as a person. It's cute, it's relatively understated and it only really tells you what it's about when you get close... Sounds a bit deep doesn't it?

The gingerbread characters on the Star Wars Christmas jumper were just too adorable to resist. I also really like how it doesn't look like a typical Christmas jumper. For me, I feel that some Christmas jumpers can be a bit 'out there', however this one feels very 'me'. I could even get away with wearing this one all year round!

Back to the future Christmas jumpers.

What I love so much about back to the future is that we're actually in the future now... And it's noting like they predicted! I love the concept behind the movies and couldn't not include them in my list.

Jurassic Park Christmas jumpers.

Jurassic Park is another iconic movie which I was torn by. Over the last year my daughter has become obsessed with dinosaurs and although she's not seen Jurassic Park (because it's actually scary AF) I know she'd absolutely love this selection of Christmas jumpers.

Harry Potter Christmas jumpers.

My sister & I are big Harry Potter fans, we even made the six hour trip to the studio tour in London a few years ago. Looking at Zavvi's selection of Harry Potter Christmas jumpers was difficult for me as there were so many understated options I could've easily picked.

Gremlins Christmas jumpers.

Made before I was even born, there's no denying Gremlins isn't an iconic movie. I really liked the more traditional Christmas jumper style of the Gremlins sweaters.

Star Trek Christmas jumpers.

You're either a Star Wars or a Star Trek fan, that's what they say isn't it? I'm firmly on the Star Wars side however I couldn't not include these for the Trekkies out there.
