There are certain pieces in a gals
wardrobe that are seen as investment pieces. Whether the investment is £60 or
ten times that price, these items of clothing come around season after season
& can be paired with pretty much anything; and for me, that’s this long
line camel coat.

I picked up this long line camel
coat last Winter as I’d fallen in love with the trend as it rolled around for
yet another season. The camel shade is perfect for throwing over so many
different outfits and can be styled in either a dressed up or dressed down way.
Its’ oversized fit is particularly great for this time of year, as even though
it doesn’t have buttons, I can easily get wrapped up and kept warm within it...
Think of it like a posh dressing gown!
I’m dressing the camel coat up
today with a pretty slim line outfit underneath. I’ve spoken about it before on
the blog, but I love wearing a slim fit, figure hugging outfit with an overized
chunkier jacket over the top. It’s such an easy look, which I believe looks so
much more put together than it actually is.
Underneath I’m wearing a scalloped
edge mint green vest from New Look along with possibly my most favourite pair
of jeans. Not only are they stretchy, meaning I can have those extra pigs in
blankets, but they’re super flattering, comfortable and look ace with a pair of
chunky heels. I don’t wear heels all that often, however if I do, it’s a pair
of chunky ones like these; they’re much more comfortable and way easier to walk
in, than a pair of stilettos... And if you know anything about me, it’s that I’m
all for comfort!
What’s your investment piece in
your wardrobe? How would you style this long line camel coat?
