Even though the nights are closing in on us & we're all more than excited for all things Autumn/Winter, I can't help but still be digging that Summertime glow!

I picked up the Loreal True Match Highlight a few weeks ago on one of those Boots shops, you know where you go in for one thing and came out with eight... We've all been there right? It's infectious!

I've only ever used powder highlights in the past, so was really excited to try this one & see how different the finish would be. The multi use liquid highlight is exactly as the name suggests. Loreal recommends the product to be used in either three ways; As a base before foundation, mixed in with a liquid foundation for a dewy coverage, or as a standard highlight to make those cheekbones pop! I've loved the versatility of the Loreal True Match Highlight and have found myself using it at least one of the three ways, pretty much every day since buying it.
I have the shade Icy Glow which is cool toned rosy illuminatior that packs one hell of a punch. The multi use liquid highlight is dispersed super precisely from the small nozzle you come to expect from Loreal products, ensuring none of the product is wasted. I've used both my hands and a brush to apply the highlight & find it blends seamlessly either way. I love how pigmented, yet non glittery, the highlight is and a little really does go a long way with this product, I can definitely see it lasting a long time. I've been really loving using  the Loreal True Match Highlight as it  gives a much dewier, more natural finish than others I've used, this is definitely my highlight of choice right now!

I don't know why it's taken me so long to try a liquid highlight. What would you recommend?

  1. How have I only just heard about these?

    1. I'm not sure if it's new you know. I picked this up from Boots, but it's not on their website. Or it wasn't when I wrote the blog post anyway. This is the first time I've seen it. X

  2. I've seen these and they look awesome! Looking at the swatch, it reminds me of Revlon's Skinlights. Remember they had those cream highlighters back in the day?

    1. Hi Halima :-) I've not actually tried the Skinlights highlight before, but if this is anything to go by, I'm sure it's fab! :-) Tank you so much for reading. X
