Fashion | Kady

Even at the ripe old age of 26 I'm only just figuring out what type of clothes suit my body shape and something I've discovered really recently is a super high, choker style neckline.

I was drawn to the Kady top from Boutique Of Molly as the neckline is really unusual and like nothing else in my wardrobe. Even though I'd not tried anything like this before I was pretty sure it'd work well with my frame purely because I know what doesn't suit me. For some reason I can't get away with spaghetti strapped cami tops so with this being the polar opposite, I had high hopes...And I love it! I've had so many compliments wearing this & I love the way it shows off my shoulders & collar bones - I definitely need to get my hands on some more tops like this. The only thing I'm unsure about it how to style it in colder months, I'm not convinced it'll look as good with a chunky knitted cardigan thrown over the top so if you have any ideas p.lease throw them my way.
I've carried the navy stripes from the top through to the culottes which are definitely the comfiest bottoms in the world especially when it's warm, as you can see from my holiday outfits, they've been an absolute godsend! I've also accessorised todays' look with a hot pink clutch and a pair of three year old Topshop sandals that I've recently rediscovered.

What do you think of todays outfit? Do you feel like you know what type of clothes suit you?

  1. Love this top and as you wore it at LRSummerParty. It's definitely a style that suits your frame.
I sometimes feel my swimmer-like shoulders are to bulky for halter neck type tops.lol
I think it would look ok with a plain navy blue thin cardigan, not nothing patterned or chunky..

    1. Thank you lovely. Yeah that's a good idea. It's quite a bold print (for me) so I wouldn't want to wear something over the top that'd drown it. I'll definitely be experimenting when Autumn/Winter rolls round. X
