OOTD | The Khaki Bomber.

It's not often I feel the urge or desperation to buy anything, but when the bomber jacket trend came around at the beginning of the year I knew I had to jump on board. I don't get chance to buy things for myself a lot, hence why it's taken me so long to get on board with the trend, but now i have, I've got no regrets & I definitely don't want to get off the band wagon.

I picked this beauty of a bomber jacket up from River Island earlier on in the week & absolutely love it.
Rivers have a shit tonne of choice when it comes to bomber jackets but I opted for this one because it's made from a tougher more durable material, it's a wearable colour and the gold hardware is just dreamy to me, that definitely tipped me over the edge. I love the casual look a bomber jacket brings to an outfit & I think the style will be absolutely perfect for Summer, and for me because of the colour I'll be able to wear it with so many outfits.
I've paired the jacket with quite a casual outfit, it's one I wore on a day off, running errands & walking to dog - It's a very comfy & very versatile look that I'm sure would suit a whole host of people.
I love wearing khaki with burgundy as I think they're such a warm & interesting colour match, hence why I've chosen to wear my red Pumas & basic asymmetric top to compliment the darker green.
Finally I've popped on a pair of black wet/leather look leggings, which if I'm honest are the teeniest bit too tight (no more cakes for Claire) but they literally go with everything! The trousers smarten up an outfit & definitely give this casual look a more edgy twist.

Is there a trend you've been desperate to try but haven't got round to? The bomber jacket was definitely that for me, and I'm so so glad now I've jumped on board.

Thank you so much for reading. Lots of love | Claire.x
