Beauty | Tanya Burr Cosmetics Lip Gloss: Berry Picking

My opinions on lip glosses has changed dramatically over the last year or so. Never in a million years would I have ever opted for a gloss over a lipstick, however nowadays it's something I'm finding myself doing more & more often. I was previously under the impression that glosses were tacky, sticky, gloopy and not all that nice to wear on the lips... Turns out I must have just buying the crap glosses, as the ones I've tried recently have been absolutely fabulous!
My winning streak when it comes to lip glosses spurred me on to experiment with bolder lip colours, hence why I picked up Tanya Burrs' Berry Picking

The first thing I noticed about the product was its' fruity scent. It was a really pleasant surprise, however I can't quite put my finger on what it is is, I want to say watermelon, but I'm not all that sure. It's lovely though, whatever it is. (If you know what scent I mean, write it in the comments below, I'd love to know.) The product applies really nicely with a soft & comfy doe foot applicator. It's not sticky in the slightest and it's really comfy on the lips. For a gloss, Berry Picking applies pretty opaquely, It certainly packs a punch on the lips and looks absolutely beautiful for the coming season. This shade will look amazing too with a gold shimmery eye & a perfectly contoured face!... Note to self: I really need to learn how to contour! Although I wasn't too keen on Tanyas' eyeshadow palette packaging, I absolutely love the sleek design to the lip gloss. It's neat, it's compact & it looks a hell of a lot more expensive than it actually is.

Have you tried anything from Tanya Burr's new cosmetics range? I'd really like to expand my gloss collection.

Lots of love | xclaireabella
