Beauty | Celebrating Makeup Revolutions 1st Birthday

It doesn't happen very often in the beauty industry where a brand completely comes out from nowhere, takes the world by storm & keeps growing and growing with no signs of stopping. The beauty industry already has so many prestigious brands, but it seems there was always space for a budget friendly, blogger friendly, animal friendly, revolutionary cosmetics brand.... In walks Makeup Revolution!

If you haven't heard of Makeup Revolution... Then where the heck have you been? With products starting from as little as £1 (yes one whole pound) they offer a whole lotta quality for not much buck - You don't feel half as guilty buying three lipsticks from Makeup Revolution as you would say Mac, so from a price point of view Makeup Revolution are winning massively for me! The products are always insanely good (considering the price) but it's the quality of the service with Makeup Revolution that I really love. They use social media so well & make me as the customer feel so awesome for buying from them. I think brands that connect with their customers are really going to go so far & considering Makeup Revolution has only just hit it's 1st birthday I think they've done so so well!

Part of their birthday celebrations included the fabulous offer of if you spend £25.00 on products, you'll receive an extra £25.00 worth of free goodies!... And who am I to turn that down. Here's what I spent my money on...

Atomic Lipstick | Make it Right
I've been after trying one of the atomic shades now for such a long time & you all know my love for purple so I thought where better to start than the shade 'make it right'.
Lip Hug | Love Can Set You Free
This lipstick is much nudier than it appears online. I originally picked this shade because it looked nude/mauve & I thought it'd work perfect with my skin tone but this is still a lovely shade & I'm excited to give it a go.
Amazing Care Lipstick | Love Pink
I absolutely love this idea! Lip balm on the outside & pigment on the inside. I have had a sneaky try of this already & I absolutely love it - Like literally fell in love straight away!
Ultra Velour Lip Cream | Sweet Boy with a Big Mouth
Who doesn't love a pop of pink! The texture of these matte lip lacquers is normally spot on and this is colour is going to be such a good shade for Spring/Summer.

Iconic Pro Blush, Bronze & Brighten | Smoulder
I've been after a palette like this containing all three aspects of contouring for such a long time. It's pretty annoying having to use three different products at a time so this handy 'all in one' product will be ace.
Focus & Fix Brow Kit | Light Medium.
I've been wanting to try this for such a long time! I'm huge on Benefits' Browzings & I'd heard this was on an equal par at a fraction of the price so I've been desperate to compare.

Nail Polish | Devil Inside
Okay - I'm Claire & I have a nail polish addiction. I didn't think I did... But I seriously do! How gorgeous is this shade though. I'm all for subtle nails and I think this will be the perfect colour to see me through to Summer.
Powder Blush | Treat | Sugar
I already own two of Makeup Revolutions blushers & have been really super duper impressed with them so I couldn't help but add these two to my collection. At £1.00 each they're a bloody bargain!

Pro Foundation Brush | 101
I'm a little late to the Makeup Revolution brush hype that's been going on so I thought I'd better jump on the bandwagon. I can't believe how inexpensive these are!
Pro Eyeshadow Contour Brush | 102
So we're contouring our lids now are we? In laymans terms it's a crease brush isn't it really. I don't own an angled brush so I wanted to give this a try to see what effects it gives.
Pro Concealer Brush | 102
I'm terrible with brushes, I literally use the same 2 brushes to complete my face so I really wanted to give this a go to see if it was worth the hype.

As you can see you get an awful lot of products for £25.00, a lot more compared to other cosmetics brands. It was easily spent as they've got a huge array of products & their colour choices are insane! Here's all the goodies us Makeup Revolution fanatics were given in return...

Liphug | I Think You're Amazing
Another fab nude, but with a hint or coral this time. I've got so many new lip products at the moment it's getting me all giddy!
Amazing Care Lipstick | Love Pink | Electric Love
I've got a duplicated colour in 'Love Pink' - I'm not too fussed mind, becaue I absolutely adore everything about these products.

Vivid Blush Lacquer | O Boy
I've never used a product like this before, I'm hoping it's easy enough to apply. If it is I'm sure I'll love it because of how bright barbie pink it is.
Eye Dust | Starless | Levity
I've always struggle with pigments. I'm terrible for spilling the product everywhere & making a complete mess! The colour choice here isn't something I'd necessarily go for but I'm going to work with them, they could make some pretty interesting looks.

I Love Makeup | I am Naked
This is a fab little palette, it's the perfect size with some perfect shades. This is going to be one of those quick and easy palettes that I'm not going to be able to put down.
I Love Makeup | Go To The City
This is a real mix of shades for me. The blushers are lovely but the eye shadow shades are a tad mismatched for my liking. I like the shades that are there I just wished they were more connected to each other.

Mascara | Amazing Volume
For me this is the first Makeup Revolution product where I've been able to tell it's a budget cosmetics brand. The brush is huge so I'm hoping it's not going to be too clumpy but I'll certainly give it a go.
Eye Primer | Matte
I've been suffering quite badly recently with sore eyes & they're still a little sensitive so I'm going to leave trying this for a little while, but when I get there I'll be sure to let you know.

Have any of you guys made the most of Makeup Revolutions' birthday celebrations? I'd love to see what you've bought if you did.

Lots of love | Claireabella.x
