Fashion | Colour Blocking For Spring

Since having a major wardrobe overhaul I feel like I've discovered so many different clothing items that I'd forgotten about. Surely that's a sign that I've got too many clothes, in fact, my wardrobes fit to burst at the moment, but still... We can never have too many clothes right?
Anywho... Today I'm showcasing to you this stunningly coral, peach blazer. Originally it came in a little shorts suit set, but I seem to have lost the shorts (Boo hiss!) so we're just looking at the blazer for now, and hopefully in my mass of clothes I'll find the shorts at a later date!

I love how easy it is just to chuck a blazer over your outfit, & how dramatically it can transform an outfit, especially with a super bright injection of colour. This coral peach colour is going to be fab in Spring Summer & to me just screams sunshine! I always wear my blazers open as I think it looks much cooler, but you also get to see the lining - This one being very silky & shiny, but most blazers nowadays have some awesome patterned linings, which I think is always cool to see.
I think this piece works just as well with a plain white tee or shirt however I have gone pretty colour mad (for me anyway) & teamed my tailoring with a soft green cami. I like the bold contrasting colours & think it's a very memorable look. To balance the pops of colour I've toned things down with some simple black skinnies, bright white pumps & nude clutch.

What do you guys think of colour blocking?
