Blogmas Day 3 - Beauty: New Cid Cosmetics I-Gloss*

Since moving to Leeds in late September I've been gifted with so many amazing opportunities because of my blog, the first being the Paul Mitchell Gift of Style event at the Quebecs Hotel in the City Centre. The event certainly didn't disappoint & this was my first opportunity for me to meet fellow Leeds bloggers so it was a little daunting at first but I had an an absolutely amazing time. I'll be forever grateful for this event being organised as it was a great experience meeting new people with the same interests as myself, especially in a place which didn't really feel like 'home' yet. So thank you guys once again! At the end of the event I was presented with the heaviest goodie bag I think I've ever received which contained loads of lovely goodies including the I-Gloss from New Cid Cosmetics.

I'm not normally big on lip glosses because I find most formulas to be really sticky & really uncomfortable on my lips. I hate that feeling as well of having what feels like every single hair on your head stick to your lip gloss, it's just not worth it for me... Unfortunately I've never met a lip gloss that I've completely fallen head over heels with so I wasn't totally enthusiastic about this product & this isn't going to be a lovey dovey review but I can say that I was Pleasantly surprised by this product.

The I-Gloss has that same sticky feeling to a certain extent but it's got a really nice almost gel like sheen to it so I've actually found this product pretty wearable. It's also got a really lovely applicator, it's a really precise paintbrush style nib, unfortunately though because it's quite drying, this product does need reapplying every hour or so.
The colour is named 'Coral Candy' & it looks pretty Coral like in the bullet but once it's applied to the lips I'd say it was more of a shimmery pink/nude. It doesn't really bear any resemblances to a coral colour at all, but I don't mind, I'm not going to grumble about the colour because it's still so lovely. In fact I much prefer a more nude gloss than anything with a more bold colour.
What I'm really really super duper impressed with however is this products ingenious packaging! This I-Gloss has a little led light integrated into the lid & a rectangular mirror along the side of the bullet, which is such a simple idea, yet so so helpful! All make up products should have this packaging!
Unfortunately I still haven't found 'the one' when it comes to lip glosses & with the I-Gloss coming in at £17.00 I think it's a little too pricey for me to be going back & buying especially when I'm not 100% sure.

Have you got any non sticky lip glosses you could recommend? I feel like I need serious help in the lip gloss department.

Thanks so much for reading. Lots of love.
