Outift: Aztec Print & Ripped Jeans

It feels like ages since I've done an outfit post, essentially it was only last week but at the moment I feel like I've been writing loads of beauty posts & really embracing cosmetics and loving experimenting with different looks - Normally this is never my sort of thing, I'm pretty boring when it comes to Make Up to be honest but since having a mini makeover with NARS at Harvey Nichols in Leeds I've been super inspired! I find beauty posts are a lot quicker & easier to put together as well, there's no faffing on making sure your outfits right on your hair's bang on. I love writing beauty posts snuggled up in my jim jams with a cup of tea, the complete opposite really of what I'm writing about but still... I think we can get away with it! Anywho... Back on with the post Claire...

I'm trying to hold off digging the chunky knitwear out for as long as possible, even though I'm super excited about wearing cosy clothes and getting wrapped up I'm trying to save the novelty for as long as possible so when it does get absolutely freezing (and it's inevitable) I'll feel the benefits much more. I bought this kimono at the start of Summer and think because of the deep burgundy colouring and aztec print it's a pretty transitional piece and I'll be able to wear this right through Autumn, which is amazing! I'm wearing a simple black vest top with slightly dropped arm holes (Hello bra straps!) and my usual ripped jeans - I've really been loving these recently! You'll probably be sick of them cropping up all the time in my posts! Oops. Lastly as well this necklace I picked up on a recent trip to Leeds, I of course went into Primark and found this priced at £1.00!! I had to buy it, I thought even if I only wear it a few times (today included) I'll have got my moneys worth. £1.00!! I still can't get over it - Claire McPartland: Expert bargain hunter!!

A whingey side note - I'm really struggling with my camera at the moment, I'm currently using a Fujiflm Finepix S4000 and am not at all 100% with my pictures. If anyone has any reccomendations it'd be much appreciated, preferbely something small & compact.

Thanks for taking a look. Lots of love.
