Outfit: River Island Snakeprint Blazer

Hi guys, hope you're all okay. Today's one of those days that feels like its taken aaages to come round... I received an email during the first week of August inviting me to attend my second bloggers event up in Newcastle. And now finally 6 weeks later, tonight is the night.  Malee & Fee will be hosting the event tonight showcasing their A/W collection up at the MSA in the City Centre and I for one am really looking forward to it.

I've had this Snakeprint Blazer for a very very long time, in fact I bought it while I was a student about three years ago & could still make the most of mt Student Discount (Boo! Damn you adulthood!) I picked this up in the River Island sale and have never looked back! I wear this blazer quite a lot & feel it instantly transforms an 'everyday outfit' to one that's much more tailored & put together. Tonight outfit is 90% monochrome with a little hint of lime green - I've really been embracing the whole monochrome trend & think it's one of those that will never go out of fashion! It comes round season after season and is such a versatile look. I've added the lime green for an extra bit of interest to my outfit; I love this colour & really think it brightens my super pale skin tone

I'll be writing up a blog post about the event later in the week - So watch this space!!

Thanks for taking a look. Lots of love.

  1. Your necklace is so cute! It looks like something from Shop Dixi, I actually have been on Charmed Ivy but obviously need to go on more often!

    1. I love Chamed Ivy - I think they're brill & quite a bit cheaper than Dixi. Dixi has some lovely stuff but I'm pretty poor at the moment so CI wins everytime :-) X

  2. Such a gorgeous outfit and I love your lip colour too! I love the monochrome trend; it's so easy to wear and you can always mix it up with a splash of colour. xxx

    1. 100%!! I'm finding myself wearing more and more monochrome. I should really splash out a bit more but it's such a cool & versatile look. X
