Adventures: Richmond

Hey folks - Todays' post is going to be a little bit different as me and Dan went off adventuring over to Richmond. I feel like we've got to the point now where we've done everything there is to do in Middlesbrough and have to search further a field for little adventures out. We're very much outdorsy people and feel now we've gotten a bit older that we can actually appreciate the finer things in life...

What's really surprising is that all this gorgeous scenery is only a 40 minute drive from our home, it's a completely different world to that of the heavily industralised Teesside. We parked up close to the Village Square which by the way is absolutely stunning, full of quaint little tea rooms and independent shops. To me it's the perfect place to live, everything is so super cute & oldie worldie... Shame about the house price tags! Darn it!
We started our walk at Richmond Falls and following the 'Drummer Boy' route ended up at St Agathas Abbey. We dawdle quite a bit when we're out walking as we like to take everything in so all in all it took us a couple of hours, which was especially nice on a day like today - No raincoats needed!

Thanks for taking a look. Lots of love.

  1. Looks like a gorgeous place! :) It's great when you discover new places close-by. xxx
