Lifestyle: Cala Bona - Majorca

Last week my boyfriend and I took a much needed getaway trip to Cala Bona in Majorca. It was his birthday at the begining of the month & I thought what better way to treat him than a few nights away in the sun. Today I'm sharing with you a few pictures showing what we got up to as I've loved seeing other bloggers holiday pics! Enjoy...

Day One.
The first day of a holiday is always the 'finding your bearings' day isn't it, so with that in mind we put our flip flops on and went out exploring. A short walk from our hotel was a small port with cute little 'putput boats' as well as the beach. You can walk right along the coast which is just beautiful, I don't know what it is about the sea but I find it just fascinating! I could walk & walk for miles. Cala Bona itself is pretty quiet, which for us at this time was perfect, we've been on adventure & sight seeing holidays before, but a chill out holiday was much needed!

Day Two.
Before we jetted off I'd asked my boyfriend if we could get a pedal bike to explore the island a bit more, but it was only when we got there & saw these little cars and thought they would be way cooler, they were called 'valentines' too! How cute is that! We hired one for 2 hours and with that time we ventured all the way down to Cala Millor, its only a short distance from where we were staying but seemed so much more tourism orientated there. The beach was sensational, golden sands & clear blue waters, it was absolutely gorgeous.

Day Three.
On the penultimate day we took a boat trip out to Porto Cristo & visied the Cuevas Del Drach. Unfortunately because the Caves were so far underground and we weren't allowed to use flash on our cameras the pictures haven't turned out that well. It was fascinating though how the cave walls were formed as well as the underground lake at the bottom. Porto Cristo is really stunning too, home to a huge harbour full of everything from small fishing boats to what can only be described as the 'mega bucks boats' - Some of them were really gorgeous, if we had the money & lived in Spain we'd deffs be getting one! Ha. If only!

Day Four.
Last day! Boo!... The last day was a complete chill out, after hitting the shops we then ventured down to Cala Bona beach. Like i said this beach is a lot quieter & chilled out, there was us and maybe about ten other people which was just lovely! We ended up having a bit of a nana nap on the beach (Probably because of the stupidly huge food intake during the week) after having a swim in the sea & posing for the usual 'hotdogs or legs' photos.

I hope you've enjoyed looking through a few of my holiday snaps - Would love links to see yours.

Thanks for taking a look. Lots of love.
