Random: Malteaser Crunch Bars

Okay, so this is a slightly different post to usual & straight up it's completely pinched from Amy over at 'The Girl In The Bowler Hat' she's got a fab blog & I was completely inspired by her recipe for Malteaser Crunch Bars... So much so that I had to make them for myself & share them with you lovely people.

You will need...
*100g Butter
*100g Milk Chocolate
*3 Tablespoons of Golden Syrup
*200g Digestive Biscuits
*100g Malteasers
*100g White Chocolate

How to make these little beauties...
*Firstly over the hob, melt your butter, milk chocolate & golden syrup in a pan together. This needs to be done on a really low heat so it doesn't burn, it melts super quick so make sure you keep an eye on it.
*Crush the digestive biscuits (This is very therapeutic - Think of somebody you don't like. Ha) and slowly add these to your melted mix. These will gel together pretty quickly almost like some sort of chocolatey gooey paste of loveliness.
*Add your malteasers & give everything a good mix making sure everything gets covered with chocolate.
*Transfer this mix to your lined baking tray, pushing the mixture around as evenly as possible. Put this into your fridge to set, this should take no more than a couple of hours.
*Melt your white chocolate & drizzle over your mix- You can make these into all kinds of cool patterns :-) This then needso go back into the fridge to set.
*Finally cut your mix into small square portions & hey presto!.. They're ready to eat!

Happy munching :-)

Thanks for taking a look. Lots of love.
