Outfit: Lilac Crop

I feel like today's the start of an awesome couple of months for me, granted today wasn't totally exciting, I did get a hair cut & I have boshed off my humongous pile of ironing so I'm pretty pleased with that.... But I have got some pretty exciting things coming up, I don't want to give too much away as some of it's secrets... But I'm sure you'll find out in due course!
Todays outfit was acceptable this morning when the sun was shining & it was super red hot, now though not so much... I don't know where this horrendous weather keeps coming from. Like seriously? It's supposed to be summer!

I never ever ever wear crop tops! This is an absolute first for me & yet again I'm very late to this trend, but hey ho, I'm giving it a go anyway. I've always shied away from the look because of my tattoos, I don't dislike them, but this was a 'young & 18' type of decision, they don't mean anything to me other than me thinking they were pretty at the time...
I'm a huge bargain hunter & this crop was no exception, there's a George at Asda on my way to work so quite often i'll just 'pop in for a look' and I think i struck it lucky with this £5.00 down from £10.00 crop. They had loads of colour choice, mainly pastels which was amazing however  this lilac number was the only colour in my size.
I'd really love a pair of pastel skinnies & I think they'd look fab with this crop, unfortunately though I have had to opt for my trust black ones. Black skinnies are one of my staple pieces, I absolutely love how fabulously versatile they are.
Another absolute bargain is this £25.00 trench, I bought this on a trip to the Metrocentre, infact I think it was one of those last minute Christmas shopping trips where I only ended up buying stuff for myself. Ooops! We've all been there right?
And my sandals! Lovelovelove! Not so long back myself & my sister took a trip to London & these were a part of a massive shop down Oxford Street. They're the comfiest things ever & I love the whole platform white soles look.

Have you been brave enough to try the crop top trend?

Thanks for taking a look. Lots of love.

  1. I love the crop top & necklace. At first I thought it was a fringed crop. You rocked it though! Don't fret for a moment & your tattoos look cool too. We all make mistakes, but as long as you learnt something from it , then you're golden. :] // itsCarmen.com ☼
