Beauty: The Sleek Restorer

I've finally had a breakthrough this week with Garnier Ultimate Blends!

After years and years (and maybe some more years) of straightening, curling and blowdrying my hair - Basically damaging the hell out of it all in the name of fashion - I've found a godsend of a product to help protect & keep my hair looking silky smooth and shiny!

Garnier!... Firstly I should start by saying I didn't even realise Garnier did any haircare products, it was only when out doing the weekly shop I noticed they had some special offers on their new haircare products. And I'm not one to miss out on a special offer, so here goes...

Garnier Ultimate Blends comes in six equally nutritious varieties so suit six different hair types.
   *The Silky Smoother
   *The Marvelous Transformer
   *The Sleek Restorer
   *The Sine Revitaliser
   *The Nourishing Repairer
   *The Colour Iluminator
It was a toss up between 'The Nourishing Repairer' and 'The Sleek Restorer' As you can see I opted for the latter for two reasons; One, because I'm completely in love with coconuts and two, because I've only recently had my hair cut so it doesnt need to be repaired as such, it just looks a bit bland and lifeless & needs brightening up a bit.

I've been using these products the past week and must admit I've also stopped straightening my hair so this probably adds to the effect, but so far so good! I'm very impressed and feel like I've finally found something that works!

Getting my first & only bad point out the way with... The packaging and overall look of this product is a bit 'meh'. It doesn't strike me as anything spectacular and I'm not too keep on the leaf cut out to pop the bottles open. I wouldn't say i have particularly fat fingers, but there's not enough of a groove to get my fingers underneath. Maybe that's my problem and not Garniers though! Ha... However it's whats inside that counts! And with this product it's where the magic happens...

I've been using all three products all nights apart from one this week and can't stress enough the difference it'd made to my hair. Even from lathering the shampoo on in the shower I could tell this was something different, a force to be reckoned with if you like. It's left my hair feeling so silky and generally feeling a lot more healthier - It feels thicker and a lot more manageable, which is great seen as though it's getting quite long now. It's almost as if I've never damaged my hair with heat!
I'm unsure to be honest at how different the Minute mask and the Conditioner are really but I've still been using them both as they really do work wonders. After rinsing both products my hair feels like pure silk & even as my hair dries (naturally) it still keeps its sleekness.
I've been washing my hair every night however I feel confident in saying I could miss a couple of days & my hair would still look fantastic from using Garnier Ultimate Blends.

Thanks for taking a look. Lots of love.
