Outfit: On Wednesdays We Wear Pink

Okay so i'm pretty sure this title is going to be going mental today. But in order to celebrate the Tenth anniversary of Mean Girls... I had to do it & wear something pink & something fetch!

Can you believe it ten years since we heard quotes like...
'I'm a mouse... Duh' 'You can't sit with us' & 'On Wednesdays we wear pink!'... Makes me feel so old!

We all know the story behind the girls & their burn book so I'm going to go straight into it with my Mean Girls inspired Outfit.
This is an outfit if I was allowed to, I would have work to work today - Unfortunately though I think I would have had some mighty strange looks thrown at me turning up pretty much head to toe in pink!

I've been wanting to blog about this look for a while to be honest, I've done the jacket & the cigarette trousers separately but never together... Until now!
This might be one of those Marmite looks?... Maybe a bit too much pink? But what better excuse to experiment and try it out than in homage to the girls.
Both items are from Topshop - And ever so slightly different shades of pink! I thought this would bug me at first being a bit of a perfectionist, but it really doesn't, I think it adds a bit of interest to the outfit. Obviously with going super hot barbie pink I've toned down the rest of my outfit with a simple white vest top & pumps. The pumps add a bit of a sporty& tomboy edge to my outfit too which I absolutely love!

I'd absolutely love to hear your thoughts on my outfit. Can there ever be too much pink?

Thanks for taking a look. Lots of love.

Outfit: Flower Power Peter Pan Collar

I'm going to get in there quick with this one - I've noticed this dress crop up a few times on other bloggers posts... So I'm going to get in there before it gets overdone - Here's how I've styled this peter pan collared dress...

I was unsure at first to weather I could pull off the Peter Pan Collar styled dress, but as soon as I tried it on I instantly fell in love with it! It's very 'cutesy' and the print is fantastic, it's the main focal point in todays outfit and works well with muted tan accessories. It's nipped in just under the bust which not only is extremely flattering but also excellent if you want to pig out & enjoy a good meal. The shoulders are slightly puffed up too which leaves an amazing silhouette.
Like I said I've toned down the print with tan accessories, a pair of Topshop loafers & a mini barrel bag from ASOS.
I think this colour scheme works quite well and have added a small floral crown to match - I almost feel like a woodland fairy, you know from Fern Gully or something.
I've piled on the jewellery again today with pieces from Pandora, Sister Vintage & Matalan.

Thanks for taking a look. Lots of love.

Outfit: Catch Up & A Brew

Today I'm off to my friend Hannah's for a brew & a bit of a girlie gossip - She's recently moved in with her boyfriend so we had loads of stuff to catch up over!

Todays outfit is pretty smart casj (I never know how to spell casj?) & I've chosen two relatively new items to my wardrobe to wear - My new pashmina & sandals both bought whilst in Liverpool last week.

So we'll start with my pinky coloured blazer - I'm pretty sure I've blogged about this already but I love it, it's part of a tailored shorts suit which will definitely be getting paraded about during Summer when it gets a bit warmer.
My purple cami is just one of many colours I have in my wardrobe & part of my 'go to vests' collection. I think this purple colour goes brill with the pink blazer - Super femenine & girlie!
I've toned down my otherwise quite bright outfit with some simple black skinny jeans from Miss Selfridge. I love MS for jeans, they fit me just perfectly & have a little bit of stretch to them for those 'fat days'. Bonus!
I'm not sure if you can tell properly from the pictures but my pashmina is orange with green undertones - It almost feels quite asian/oriental which I love!
My sandals I'm absolutely over the moon with! These are one of those items that I looked at absolutely aaages ago, decided against buying them, then went back months later & they still had them in stock! Which literally never happens!  So I knew I had to have them - It's fate! They're super comfy as well and have quite a lot of padding on the soles which is just heavenly when it comes to 'wearing in' new shoes.
My bag, like I've said before is my baby! Michael Kors can literally do no wrong in my eyes! Everything he turns his hands to seems to turn to utter perfection!

Thanks for taking a look. Lots of love.

Haul: Mini Liverpool Haul

Like my Super Girlie York Haul posted last month, I've been on another splurge, this one was just a mni one though - not too naughty, but I still got some absolute beauties!

I picked up these items whilst in Liverpool last weekend with my best mate Jen - We did a bit of a dafty thing though and booked to go down during the bank holiday weekend so only a few of the shops were actually open. Boo! It's something that neither of us thought of, safe to say though, we won't be making that mistake again! Ha.

Would love to hear your thoughts!...

* H&M - Black Quilted Shorts - £12.99
I loved these as soon as I saw them, they're absolutely perfect for holidays and channeling the sports luxe look. I'm loooking forward to being able to wear these with a simple logo tee, some sneaks & a leather look rucksack! So stylish, yet so simple!

* New Look - Jumpsuit - £35.00
I've been going mad for this super hot pink colour recently!.. My wardrobe is slowly starting to look like Barbies doll house - I don't mind that though. Ha. It's a gorgeous fit, showing a little bit of cleavage and a little bit of ankle - Ankles are sexy right?

* Bank - Sandals - £18.99
I'm not really a great lover of Bank however just recently their concession brand 'Blonde & Blonde' has been really impressing me - In particular their footwear. This pair I came across a few months ago at the Teesside Park store but I chickened out of buying them as my car insurance was due at the time so money was pretty tight. Now its paid for though, I've not got a care in the world! And quite happily gave over my money!

* Local Store - Pashmina - £2.00
Okay... So I really can't remember what this store was called, it was only a little shop on the docks - But £2.00!! £2.00!! For this pashmina/scarf/whatever you want to call it. This was my bargain of the day! Could't believe how cheap this was - It's super soft & they had all sorts of different colours & patterns too.

Like I said this is only a small haul - But a haul none the less & it's nice to treat yourself to a few new bits and pieces - Thats my excuse anyway!

Thanks for taking a look. Lots of love.

Adventures: Hole Of Horcum

Today I've decided to take my blog on a new direction - As we're getting further into Spring, I'm finding myself going on a lot more new adventures, exploring the UK as well as my local area & I've taken heaps of pictures so what better way to expose them than trough blogging!

Previously my blog has focused more on fashion, however now I'm thinking of going down the fashion & lifestyle type route!... I'm not sure how even the ratio will end up but variety is the spice of life right?

Today myself and my boyfriend ventured up to 'The Hole Of Horcum' It's about an hours drive from our home & located just outside of Whitby. We're both big on doing outdoorsy stuff & this ticked all the boxes. My good friend Nikki once mentioned 'The Hole Of Horcum' to me years & years ago - But in all honesty I forgot about it untill yesterday when we did the whole umming & arring thing about what to do with our day off.

We took a small pic-nic, had a mooch around & finally ended up at the ice cream van! Awesome day if you ask me!

Seen as though we were doing the whole outdoorsy thing, todays outfit is casual & comfortable. I'll start with these Topshop Jeggings which were actually a hand-me-down from my 'Mad Auntie Sue' (Yes - That's her full title). I love a good hand-me-down & these jeggings are perfect - Super comfy & theyre made from a very stretchy material too which works wonders! I like to wear something at least a little bit girlie whilst doing outdoor activities, hence this bubble gum pink top! The sleves are rolled up which is very 'current' and its super light so perfect for exploring on sunny days! I've added a simple wine coloured hoody from Ark as well as a pair of trusty converse! Also again I've been loving how sunny it is outside so chose my Rayban Wayfarers as they keep the outfit looking casual - I'm after some Clubmasters, but I'm not totally sure they'll suit my face shape... We'll see though - They might accidently fall into my shopping basket!

Hope you've all had a fantastic Easter & made the most of the glorious sunshine!
Would love some thoughts on me doing more lifestyle posts.

Thanks for taking a look. Lots of love.

Outfit: Sunshine On The Docks

This weekend I've had a bit of much needed rest and relaxation, and had some time off from work & blogging. I'm back though now!! I can't wait to get back into blogging, work though however I can't say the same for!

I've actually had a weekend away to Liverpool with my bestie Jen - We relived our teenage years and went to see McBusted at the Echo arena! Which was absolutely amazing :-) Honestly one of the best nights I've had in a long time! It was brilliant to kick back and have a sing and a dance to some of our favourite noughties tunes!

I won't spoil it too much by giving too much away for anyone else who is going - Apart from you're going to have a unbelievably good time!

This is the first time this year that I've been able to wear my sunglasses (and for it to be seen as socially acceptable) so I thought I'd better include them in todays post. Like my Michael Kors bag these Marc Jacobs sunnies are my 'babies' I like to invest in accessories and generally spend a bit more money on things I know aren't going to go out of fashion  - Such as the above.
I took my H&M trench as it's perfect weather now to wear it. It's a great tool for layering & being neutral goes with pretty much everything!
My sequined top is a favourite of mine for nights out - I think it looks equally nice though dressed down here with rolled up skinny black jeans & simple black flats.

Happy Easter everybody!!
& If you're going to see McBusted - Enjoy!! I'm sure you will.

Thanks for taking a look. Lots of love!

Outfit: Hint of Pink

Those people who know me on a personal level will know I'm  a complete girlie girl  - I love pink, I love pamper nights & I love dancing!

Todays outfit is only a little hint of pink, but a hint is all you need right?

I've blogged about this pink Topshop jacket before, which is understandable as it's absolutely amazing! When buying it I remember thinking the £40.00 price tag was a little steep but I've had so much wear out of it! I've definitely got my moneys worth out of it! I've seen they have a cobalt blue colour one too so that might be next on my 'to buy list'. It's fab!
Because my jackets so bright I've played it down with a simple black vest top from George at Asda - I love basics from George, it just so happens to be as well that there's one on the way to  work so if I have a spare ten minutes I'll pop in and have a browse - This often turns out quite bad for my bank balance!
I'm unsure as to what to call the print on these wide leg trousers (answers on a postcard please) but these are a new purchase from Primark. They had so many different prints, it was hard just narrowing it down to just one - And I had to pick one because I had too much stuff in the bag already! Typical!

Thanks for taking a look. Lots of love!

Outfit: Heaps of Jewellery!!

This week I'm home alone as my boyfriend is away doing some important work things - So this can only mean two things!... I'm going to my mum and dads for some home comforts & I'll be doing plenty of blogging. So here goes...

I've only attached a few photos today because for some odd reason my camera kept catching the red brick background all weirdly. The bricks almost looked a bit cartoony so here's the best of the bunch. Enjoy!...

So todays outfit could be considered a bit pirate-esque (I'm making up my own words here) with my black & white striped dress and heaps of jewellery. I love it though & it was extremely comfy - which is surely what fashion is all about.

I wore this black & white striped dress religiously last summer - It's made up of such a light & floaty material it's perfect for warmer weather so I'm sooo glad I can finally dig it back out my wardrobe!
I've piled on my accessories today, which isn't something I normally do, I normally forget in all honesty but today I thought I'd do something a bit different.
Starting from the top I'm wearing a new floral head band from New Look - I love the festival type look & have seen some huge floral crowns recently on the high street, however I dont think i could quite pull them off so I've opted for something a little smaller - Something a little more in proportion with my head size (Tiny!)
Going down you've got my trusty gold & black ribbon necklace - If you follow my blog then you'll probably be sick of me featuring this necklace but I love it, it goes with pretty much everything!!
The triangle ring & bracelets I'm wearing are from Sister Vintage, I discovered this brand quite soon after starting my blog & honestly they're a godsend, they have so much choice and you can get so much for your money! They have some awesome bargains!

Hope you liked my swashbuckling outfit!

Thanks for taking a look. Lots of love.
