Date Night

Well happy valentines you lovely people.. Hope you all got loads of gorgeous treats. My fella didn't disappoint, welcoming me home from work with wine, flowers and choccies. Oh and he was cooking me nice romantic meal. Got a good one huh?

Anywho, we went out for a 'couple' of drinks afterwards so here's my outfit of choice...

I'm enjoying all the pastel colours that are making a comeback this season so there was no hesitation on picking out this New Look pastel pink cami top. These tops are a wardrobe staple of mine, I have maybe about eight versions, all in different colours that i can wear all year round.

My otherwise quite femenine look is balanced out with these leather look Miss Selfridge trousers. I bought these last year whilst 'Christmas Shopping' with my bestie Jen in Manchester. We took the special trip out in order to finish buying presents for our loved ones but actually only ended up buying stuff for ourselves. Damn it! I'd been after some trousers like this for a while though and when i saw them in sale down from £40.00 to £20.00 what else was a girl supposed to do?

I've gone for brights with the coral blazer and cocktail ring. The blazer i bought last summer as part of a Shorts Suit. Granted though with the Great British weather i very rarely get to wear the shorts... But the blazer i can wear day in day out.

I'm not a lover of heels *All women gasp in shock* I feel so much comfier in a pair of flats as opposed to 5 inch sky scrapers. Flats can still be cool and sexy... However this is a special occasion and I've donned these barely there heels. I bought these beauties form Primark last year and for what i paid for them they've been absolutely fantastic. They go with so many outfits and instantly make me feel like a supemodel! A job well done if you ask me!

Pastel colours work really well with gold jewelery... I've teamed my cami with a white feather Dorothy Perkins necklace overlayed with an old topshop flower necklace. The feathers bring a bit more texture to the outfit, contrasting with the leather look trousers.

Again the coral cocktail ring is making an apperance, I love it! And not to mention my ceramic DKNY watch bought for me by my boyfriend... Both so easy to wear.

Thanks for taking a look. Lots of love.
